Twin Oast is a brewery in planning that will be opening in the spring on a 60 Acre Farm in Port Clinton, OH. We are looking to hire a brewer to help us start on our journey.
We plan to be a Farm-to-Fermenter brewery, using as many resources from our farm as we can in our beer. We mainly grow apricots, peaches, apples, and cherries, but also have homegrown honey and various other fruits at our disposal. We will start with only clean ales and lagers on a 15 BBL system, and will eventually move into barrel-aged sours as we grow.
Our Core lineup is an American blonde, Porter, Berliner, IPA, and Hefe. From these core beers we will add fruited ales that are dependent on the seasons. We want our beers to be influenced by traditional German brews yet have an American spin.
We are looking for a brewer who will bring experience, pride, creativity, and a willingness to wear a lot of different hats. Brewer will be asked to be involved in recipe formulation, beer production, maintenance, cellaring, and packaging.
