  • Ska Fabricating's Can-i-Bus Depalletizer Users

This thread is devoted to the operation, maintenance and support for the Can-i-bus Depalletizer(or Snodgrass for that matter). We wanted to open the lines of communication with our customers and start a thread related to supporting our machinery. What better place to do it than in the Probrewer Forum! As our company has grown, the need to support our customers has as well. We have over 400 machines operating around the world and we want to make sure we support all of them in the best possible way.

While our depals are relatively simple to operate, occasionally, some things come up that need adjusting. In response to that we have started developing training videos for our customers. These videos will teach you how to make adjustments to our depalletizers to fix issues that can cause problems and interfere with our equipment running at peak efficiency. The first three videos cover Limit Switches & Carriage, Photo Eye Adjustment and Last Layer Adjustments. These videos will give you step by step instructions so that you or your staff can make these adjustments. Feel free to let us know if you find these videos useful. If you have suggestions for additional videos please let us know. You can also use this post to ask technical questions and we’ll do our best to answer them. Here is the link to the training videos:

Thanks for watching! We appreciate your business.

    Love the videos!!

Wow those videos turned out really well. It is my sincere hope that they help our customers with some common adjustments to keep their Can-i-bus running perfectly.
Stay tuned there are more videos to come. If anyone has ideas of what videos they would like to see or how we could have done these better we would love the input.
This is also a great place to connect if anyone needs technical support with Ska Fabricating products.
    Here to help.

Might not be a particularly long thread... these machines are built like tanks and dead simple to operate. Keep up the good work guys! Rising Tide absolutely loves ours.

            We've Added Another Video

The feedback on our training videos has been very positive. We appreciate all the great comments we've had. One request we had was for a video to demonstrate how to fix an issue with the last row of cans getting crushed on the dead plate. Ky Wright, our resident Mr. Fixit has produced a new video that addresses this issue. Here is a link to the training videos:

Feel free to let us know if you are having any issues and we'll do our best to get you an answer as soon as possible.

SKA Fab Videos - Very Helpful - Need More

This is a note to all breweries that utilize the SKA Depal's. Ky has done a bang up job developing a few videos on how to install and operate their industry standard can depalitizer. They are very well done and worth watching. Most of the breweries I work with prefer to install and start-up depal's themselves and with these videos, they can do so without much difficulty at all. While more videos than what I have viewed may be available, the two Ky did on the counterweight calibration and dead plate can sticking on the last row of cans in a push are excellent. I would like to encourage the gang at SKA to please keep them coming. Perhaps a video on lining up the sensors and another one on the programming panel would be very well received in the market. Thank you Ky and SKA Fab for the attention to customer satisfaction. You guys rock!! Vern Spaulding - President / Owner - Providence Process Solutions.

                  Thank you Vern

I have tried hard to create the videos to help all customers, integrators and breweries alike.
We have started with the simple but common issues arising from simple misadjustments, but I've run out of problems. We desperately need some suggestions for more problems we can solve via video. If you have any ideas submit them here. If we pick one I will personally send you a sweet Ska Fab care package. Thanks All!!!!
