Tucker Brewing Company is opening in Tucker, GA in the Spring of 2018 and looking for a self-motivated and passionate individual to join our team.
Tucker Brewing Company is a family-owned brewery dedicated to providing quality beer with respect for German brewing tradition while honoring our Southern roots. We strive every day to create a warm environment where family and friends can come together to appreciate beer, food, and life.
We are a small group of individuals who are dedicated to brewing high quality beer and building a strong company. The Georgia beer scene is growing and we are looking to grow with it.
General Description
The Sales Representative is the ambassador for the brewery. The purpose of this position is to increase Tucker Brewing Company’s sales by building strong relationships with our distributor partners and accounts, working to gain accounts, and assisting in educating distributor staff and customers about our beers and culture. It is expected that much of your time may be spent in the marketplace.
Responsibilities
Establish regular contact and build relationships with decision makers at accounts with a focus on “pull through” not “force in” sales technique.
Establish an action plan prior to visiting market, utilizing sales reps, VIP information and appropriate collateral/sales materials.
Research and understand market trends to share with team and leverage to maintain existing accounts and win new accounts.
Conduct promotions at bars and restaurants, samplings at retails stores and brewery visits for retailer.
Manage each event from beginning to end, in terms of support, POS, manpower, etc. ensuring Tucker Brewing the best possible image to the consumer.
Represent Tucker Brewing Company at approved and scheduled festivals, tastings, and other official Tucker Brewing events.
Perform ongoing quality control of beer outside of brewery.
Resolve customer complaints and issues quickly and professionally.
Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years in the beer industry.
Certified Cicerone or beer education preferred.
Detailed knowledge of beer styles, ingredients, flavors, and descriptions.
General knowledge of the brewing process.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Knowledge of the greater Atlanta beer scene is preferred.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 55 lbs.
Open availability, to include weekends and holidays as may be required.
Excellent driving record and valid driver’s license, as well as a reliable vehicle to travel to various markets.
