Job Description:
The Packaging Operator will assist in brewery production through packaging efforts, equipment maintenance and cleaning processes. This position must have excellent mechanical skills, great attention to detail and should expect to operate packaging lines, manage keg washing and cleaning and assist in the maintenance and repair of equipment. In addition, this position will be responsible for warehousing, loading and unloading trucks and wrapping and packaging orders.
Job Qualifications:
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs safely.
• Must be able to stand and perform repetitive motions for long periods of time.
• Must be able to operate pallet jack, forklift, and production equipment.
• Must communicate in a positive way that supports a team environment.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must possess basic computer and math skills.
Job Responsibilities:
• Follow FIFO standards.
• Operate and monitor packaging operations including: staging materials, labelling, box building, sorting, and inspection.
• Clean and sanitize equipment.
• Perform well in a team environment.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized workplace.
• Comply with all safety and health policies.
• Complete required production documentation.
