Wildlife Brewing is now interviewing for our Lead Brewer Position. The individual Filling this spot will become our Head brewer shortly after joining us , once we see experience and skill levels in action. Wildlife Brewing is an award winning brewery and brewpub. We have been in business 14 years and we distribute Kegs & Cans to Idaho and Wyoming . We are located in a great little town, Victor Idaho , just 1/2 hour from Jackson Hole. Right Between Jackson & Targhee ski areas. Our canning line is now operational. Canning experience/maintenance is a must as well as extensive lab training and Background. You will be in charge of quality control, brewing and packaging. We have an existing brewer to whom you will be his manager. We will be going through an expansion and are looking for the right person to join our team. We currently brew 660 Bbls per year. Duties include ingredient selection / Hop management/ Brewing / yeast management/ cellaring/ quality control / inventory management and maintaining equipment. Ensuring a strong work ethic and that the team is adequately trained and informed. Delegating activities to team members. Coordinating brewery staffing and schedules. Operating a manner which is : safe, meets or exceeds expected quality and builds on best practice procedures. Proactively works to deliver better beer at lower costs , but does not sacrifice beer quality or implement change without due consideration and evaluation. Ensuring best work practices become codified ( MSDS , SOP'S). We live in the most geologically diverse place in america and have every sport you can think of here , so outdoor recreation possibilities , will lie just outside your front door! We are also close to Grand Teton and Yellowstone National parks. This is such a great place and community to live in.
