Two Roads Brewing Company is seeking Quality Technician to assist mainly with Packaging QA/QC. This is an entry-level position that reports to the Packaging QA/QC Supervisor.
Responsibilities:
• Execute Package QA/QC Testing Procedures including Total Package Oxygen (TPO), Fill level verification, and Double Seam Integrity
• Record data accurately and promptly. Maintain data logs
• Communicate anomalous results in a timely manner
• Assist in trouble-shooting activities
• Assist in shared QA/QC lab duties, including but not limited to: Analytical measurements on green and bright beer (gravity/density, alcohol, VDKs, pH, haze, IBU, and color); Calibration & maintenance of analytical instruments; Maintaining a clean laboratory working environment
• Second-shift and weekend work will be required
Qualifications of the position include:
• B.S. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Food Science, or a related field
• Experience following established protocols and meeting deadlines
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
• Superior attention to detail, highly organized, and exemplary work ethic
• Strong communication skills
• Proficiency with computer programs such as Word and Excel
• A positive sense of humor
