    JOB TITLE: Purchasing Coordinator- Supplies
    LOCATION: Brewery, Comstock, MI
    REPORTS TO: Procurement Lead
    FLSA POSITION TYPE: Full-time, Hourly Non-Exempt
    EXTERNAL POSTING DATES: 12/18/2017-01/07/2018

    POSITION SUMMARY: The Purchasing Coordinator will process requests for materials and supplies, create and file purchase orders, find discrepancies, resolve issues with orders and act as backup for Procurement Lead.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following.
    •Adheres to and advances the “Safety Always” culture of Bell’s Brewery.
    •Actively communicates with vendors to gather information on invoices, purchase order delivery dates, price discrepancies and/or purchase order dollar amounts.
    •Prepares purchase orders or other agreements and checks them for accuracy and completeness before issuing to supplier.
    •Reviews and verifies confirmed orders for agreement with purchase orders and resolves any discrepancies with the supplier in regards to description, costs, delivery and etc.
    •Coordinates information with POS and Supply Chain departments on incoming deliveries.
    •Receives deliveries and reviews all purchase orders against packing slips, associate purchase orders with the correct account numbers, and post all purchase orders in the accounting software for payment.
    •Setups and coordinates new items cards in Microsoft AX.
    •Collaborates with other Bell’s location/department with assistance in collecting bill of ladings, packing slips, and/or quotations to ensure prompt processing of purchase orders.
    •Completes annual review of supplier pricing agreements and implements any changes.
    •Conducts price analysis with high frequency purchases to negotiate pricing discount structures with suppliers.
    •Reviews and vets new and existing suppliers.
    •Collects necessary information and sets up new suppliers, as needed.
    •Informs the Procurement Lead of any order delays or problems and submits reports as needed.

    Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.

    MATERIALS/MACHINES/EQUIPMENT USED:
    •Microsoft Office Programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
    •General office equipment
    •Occasional use of pallet jack

    IMPORTANT SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
    •Excellent communication skills across departments and locations within the Bell’s organization.
    •Exceptional time management skills with a proven ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work load to balance multiple projects.
    •Proficient data entry skills.
    •Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
    •Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
    •Computer proficiency, especially with Microsoft Office Suite.

    THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS:
    •A Bachelor’s/Associates degree in Supply Chain, Integrated Supply, Purchasing, or Business related degree or related experience.
    •Knowledge of receiving process in a Logistics/Warehouse/S&R department setting
    •Knowledge of Project Management preferred.
