    Sockeye Brewing has an open position for a driven, hardworking Sales Rep. Your main territory will be the Boise (Idaho)/Treasure Valley area (travel to other markets is required as needed). You will be responsible for but not limited to the following: Building great relationships with distributor sales reps, selling to On-premise accounts, Growler Fill Stations, promotional events, and festivals. As a face of Sockeye Brewing you must have a great attitude, strong work ethic, and vast knowledge of craft beer and the craft beer industry. To perform this job successfully you will have to service our current account base at the highest level, while also opening and retaining new on-premise accounts in your entire territory. You must also have a passion for craft beer and a desire to grow. Below are the qualifications for this position.

    Job Requirements:
    - Outgoing personality and abundant energy
    - Strong communication and relationship building skills
    - Ability to self-start, multi-task, and complete tasks independently
    - Capability to lift and deliver kegs (165lbs) on your own
    - Knowledge of Distributor workings in detail
    - Distributor Management (Working with Distributor on (but not limited to): inventory control, forecasting new brands/seasonal, planning, execution, work withs, etc.)
    - In depth knowledge of the Boise Beer Market
    - Problem solving capabilities
    - Strong Financial acumen and experience managing a budget
    - Manage POS (must be able to forecast and budget for it)
    - 2 years (minimum) of experience as a distributor sales rep or brewery rep
    - Must Be based in the Boise area
    - Significant time on the road within sales area
    - Visit 15-25 accounts per day
    - Available for evening & weekend promotions/festivals/events
    - Up to 50% Travel
    - Consistent communication with Management Team (weekly tracking, reporting and phone conferences)
    - Managing all sales from initiating sale to follow up and delivery of beer
    - Valid driver’s license and good driving record
    - Must know how to use Word, Excel & Power Point.
    - Other responsibilities may arise as needed.
