Dark Head on a Light Beer

I was wondering if anyone had experimented with creating a lighter style beer with a dark head. I am unsure if this is even possible as I can't find anything on the internet regarding the matter. I just think that it would make for a cool color contrast and would present well in the taproom.

Since foaming any liquid causes a diffusion and therefore lightening of any color compounds in that liquid, I'd say you won't be able to have a foam darker than the beer, unless you spoon it manually into the glass from a darker beer. Like a really unbalanced black and tan.
