  • Wild Goose Depaletizer Options

We are looking into getting a WG250 this year and are looking into the can loading/pack off options. It looks like we don't have the budget for a full on auto depalletizer - what other options are you all running that you are happy with?

You'll want to talk to Ska Fab., they build fantastic machines. They also have a long track record of working with Wild Goose.

They are just a super good group of folks to work with.

          A Horse with No Name

Thanks for all the awesome referrals. We really appreciate the support we receive from the forums on Pro Brewer. In response to Brian’s question we would like to leak out that we will be introducing a new lightweight, low cost mobile depal. In true brewing spirit, we collaborated with Owen Lingley at Craft Canning and utilized his design as it was a great design and proven in the field.

We are really excited about this new depalletizer. The original design had some great features and we are anxious to show it off with our new modifications. It’s designed to work with half height can stacks and is a great option for canning lines running at 15 to 50 CPM. It incorporates an automated lift, sweep and tier sheet remover. It will feed the containers onto a chute and then through a rinse cage to the filler. The unit is made of stainless steel and will be available with multiple power configurations. It’s was designed specifically for low clearance applications, tight footprints and alternating spaces but will certainly work in larger areas as well. The new mobile depalletizer will begin shipping this spring and we already have a couple of orders in production.

That being said, we have a slight problem, we don’t have a name for it.

For those of you that have some creativity, we are looking for a name and would love to hear your suggestions. In fact, we will come up with a prize for the person whose name is selected. We are going to post this on our Facebook page as well so we expect to have some fun with the naming.

Please contact us at sales@skafabricating.com if you want a bit more insight on the new machine.
