UpCountry Brewing in West Asheville is looking to fill a brewer position immediately.
In the beginning this position will encompass all aspects of the brewery such as: brewing, cleaning tanks, dry hopping, transfers, kegging out brite tanks, canning, keg washing, line cleaning, some festivals, etc. The ideal candidate will also run our Wild Goose canning line a couple times per month until a packaging program is established. Once expansion is complete, this position will shift into mostly brewing as well as working in the lab.
Requirements include:
Flexibility with a growing and changing environment
Mechanical aptitude to maintain and fix brewing equipment
Experience working in a commercial brewery for a minimum of two years
Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times
Ability to multi-task and prioritize efficiently
Strong work ethic
Desire to make delicious beer!
