Job Duties:
- Manage barrel inventory
- Develop long term kegging, barreling, blending, canning, and bottling schedules for all cellared beers
- Develop and maintain effective tracking systems to track kegs, barrels
- Manage and maintain the quality of the Barrel Aged Beer Program
- Work with QA, Research, and Small Batch Manager to develop tracking and monitoring systems for beer fermenting/aging in barrels
- Work with team to create blends of barrel aging beers
- Support and develop creative opportunities for our team
- Source and procure barrels, wood tanks and manage rotation in and out of brewery
- Recommend projects required to manage the growth of the program
- Provide training on barrel aged beer equipment and processes
- Schedule regular taste panels for Barrel Aged Beer program beers
- Maintain barrel cellar cleanliness at all times
- Develop and maintain SOPs for each process by verifying that an SOP exists for each task, that each SOP is up to date and reviewed on an annual basis, and that each SOP is approved by the Brewmaster before being implemented
- Responsibler for maintaining and tracking appropriate inventory levels of raw consumables, raw materials, chemicals, and equipment for the Barrel Aged Beer program
- Provide recommendations for and implement process improvements for Barrel Aged Beer related capital projects
- Formulate beer recipes and submit Barrel Aged Beer recipes for Brewmaster approval prior to brewing
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3 years related experience
- Excellent inventory tracking skills
- Excellent organizational, supervisory, and communication skills
- Computer literacy and experience with Google programs (sheets, drive, docs, etc) and Microsoft programs (Word, Excel)
Preferred Skills:
- Familiatity with federal and state compliance regulations
- Knowledge of industry standards and trends

- Organizing, promoting, and attending promotional events
- Participate in brewery related media events
- Beer-centric education and training for customers and staff
