    Cavendish Brewing is looking to hire a sales representative that is based in of the Charlotte NC area. This job position will be responsible for the assigned region of Charlotte and the surrounding area. The sales representative mission is to promote and sell our brand. This includes working with and understanding each customer, and finding a way to meet their needs with our products. The sales representative will be the brewery’s primary point of contact for all on and off premise accounts, and will make decisions on how to best support each customer and increase product sales.

    Responsibilities of this position include:
    - Aggressively pursue new on & off-premise beer customers and beer sales
    - Create and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers and the consumer by working beer events and representing the brewery. Scheduling trips that maximize account visits and events in all markets
    - Be seen at both in-house and out-of-house events and make yourself accessible to the bar owners, bar employees, patrons, etc.

    - Knowledge Cavendish Brewery’s beer, other craft beer, competitors and the craft beer community
    - Friendly, engaging, outgoing personality with the ability to engage very busy bar managers in a positive conversation.
    - Strong oral and written communication skills: Must articulate why people should buy our product and how it will benefit them
    - Valid Driver’s License and responsible driving record. This job will require extensive travel.
    - Able to stand for extended periods, reach, bend, stoop, lift 50 pounds, and occasionally maneuver kegs.

    Office tasks:
    - Provide daily sales reports to management.
    - Keep a weekly/bi-weekly planner of goals and account calls.
    - Report at weekly/monthly meetings with management and communicate relevant information regarding accounts, products, opportunities, etc. This will include, weekly summary of accounts visited, new accounts acquired, new taps acquired, customer feedback, and expenses.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
    - Minimum 2 years’ experience in the beer and/or alcohol-related sales field in this area.
    - In depth understanding of craft beer and customer service
    - Excellent organization and coordination skills
    - Able to manage priorities and routine functions effectively and efficiently.
    - Working knowledge of computer programs; including Excel, Microsoft Office and Google Calendar.
    - Must own and operate a smart phone
    MUST RESIDE IN THE DESIGNATED AREA (CHARLOTTE METRO AREA) OR BE WILLING TO RELOCATE

    Job Type: Full-time
    Hours: 40 plus hours, full-time employment with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and travel.
    Compensation: A combination of Salary and Sales Commission, plus a vehicle weekly allowance, and Beer.
