    Job Title: Brewery Sales Representative (Indianapolis-based)

    Job Type: Full Time (salary)

    Department: Sales

    Purpose: The purpose of this position is to collaborate with a distributor team in Central Indiana, and adjacent regions of neighboring states. The Regional Brewery Representative cultivates new commercial accounts for Sun King Brewery and ensures that existing commercial accounts are properly maintained and all service levels and expectations are met for accounts within the assigned territory.

    Duties/Responsibilities:
    • Schedule regular ride-alongs with distributor rep and advise regarding seasonal/specialty beer releases and pricing
    • Visit and maintain contact with decision makers for retailers, restaurants, and bars within assigned territory
    • Increase sales for assigned accounts using a consultative, solution-based approach that incorporates core company values
    • Fulfill needs of distributors as required (e.g., POS, tap handles, sell sheets)
    • Monitor distributor inventory and depletions
    • Communicate on daily basis w/ Sales Manager regarding orders, trends, seasonal considerations and any sales related issues
    • Analyze sales data/ performance for assigned territory on a monthly basis, report at monthly sales meeting
    • Complete company administration requirements on time and regularly, including expense reports, weekly/month recaps, monthly calendar, budget management, and daily e-mail responses
    • Participate in beer samplings, promotions, beer festivals and related events
    • Build & maintain relationships by communicating regularly with distributor sales managers
    • Conduct quarterly sales meetings/ presentations with distributor sales staff

    Qualifications/Requirements:
    • Proficient in Google Docs, MS Word, Excel, and Power Point programs
    • Proficient sales and account management skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong organization, analysis and judgment skills
    • Ability to work well in team and individual setting
    • Valid Indiana ATC server’s permit and salesman’s permit
    • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
    • Ability to work in a mobile environment while navigating an assigned territory
    • Travel is required as is work outside of normal business hours

    Education/Training/Experience:
    Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
    Previous sales and account management experience
    Great knowledge of craft beer and service industry

    Reporting:
    The Regional Brewery Representative reports directly to the Vice President of Sales and coordinates extensively with a distributor sales team. The Regional Brewery Representative also works with the Logistics Manager, Promotions Director and Marketing Team to address account needs.
