SALES REPRESENTATIVE
Great Central Brewing Company is looking for an experienced and talented Sales Representative to launch our house brand to Chicagoland and surrounding markets
OVERVIEW
Location: Chicago, IL
Reports To: David Avram, CEO
Position Type: Full-time Salary Exempt
Additional Compensation: Commission-based Bonus, Expense Budget for Driving/Entertainment, Health and Dental Benefits to Kick in at 90 days
EXPECTATIONS
• Be a Brand Ambassador of GCBC German-Style Beers
• Build a self-distribution portfolio of accounts in Chicagoland
• Begin establishing distributor relationships in surrounding regional territories
• Establish a sales strategy with goals and KPIs
• Report weekly/monthly sales and forecast production with GCBC team
• Represent GCBC at beer events, festivals, and tastings
• Maintain a list of accounts with detailed notes of each visit, tasting and/or sale
• Keep accurate and timely records of invoices, payments, and keg deposits
REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum of 2 years of sales experience in the craft beer industry
• Strong communicator and team player with respect for co-workers and management
• Self-motivated and independent with a sky’s the limit approach to life
• Excellent record keeping practices, experience with sales software is a plus
• Personable, reliable, and trustworthy characteristics vital to establishing long-lasting relationships
• Ability to lift 40 pounds and safely handle 170-pound kegs with a hand truck
• Ability to work flexible hours, additional hours & weekends as necessary
• Clean driving record and a car to transport beer to accounts and events
