Head Brewmaster position at the First Craft Brewery in Prince Edward County Ontario. We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative individual to lead our beer production teamHe. As an established brewery we have had several additions and renovations, with a desire to continue to grow and continue producing award winning beers. The main responsibilities will be full production management from start to finish. Listed below are some of the expected responsibilities and skill of the desired, but are not solely limited.
Responsibilities & Duties
-Production of current beers and development of new beers
-Yeast management and handling
-Inventory Maintenance
-Maintaining the high standard of cleanliness of production facility
-Assisting with bottling and canning
-Key member of the team for future development, and idea generation
-Educating staff on new and current beers
-Assisting with off site events
-Assist in the retail store and host tours
Qualifications/Skills
-Over 19 years of age
-Valid Ontario Drivers License
-Passionate of the craft beer industry and community
-Certified Smart Serve
-Able to work confidently as an individual or as part of a team
-Flexibility with schedule and duties
-Strong time management skills
-The ability to efficiently manage a high paced work environment
