Port City Brewing Company is a fast- growing, award-winning craft brewery in Alexandria, VA. We produced over 16,000 barrels last year, and took top honors as 2015 Small Brewery of the Year at The Great American Beer Festival. We are a busy facility and work hard every day. Our beer is not pasteurized or filtered so sanitation is of utmost importance in our brewery. This is a unique opportunity to gain experience in a variety of areas in the brewery through cross-training.

Preference will be given to candidates with 1 to 3 years of experience in a commercial brewery or in sanitary food/beverage processing; however we may be willing to train the right person with the right attitude. Our ideal candidate is someone who can adapt to any brewing environment and who can implement good plant hygiene. Above all, they should have a deep passion for producing consistently high quality beer and be eager to learn.

Able to work in a hazardous environment (hot, cold, steam, chemicals, confined spaces, etc.)
Critical Thinking and Troubleshooting Skills
Organization and Punctuality
Flexible Schedule (days, nights, weekends, and overtime)
