Telegraph Brewing Company and Epic Brewing Company, two newly combined companies, are seeking a shared Sales Representative to be based in Santa Barbara, CA that will cover the Tri-Counties area that includes Ventura, Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo counties with some additional travel and coverage possible.
A strong emphasis will be placed on selling and driving sales at on and off premise accounts by building strong relationships in the community with distributors, retailers and consumers alike. The Sales Representative will also be responsible for initiating and achieving sales goals, brand building, customer relations, industry events, and general promotion of both breweries and their local connection to this dynamic community. The ability to travel within the territory and sometimes beyond as well as a willingness to work flexible hours is a must.
Primary duties for the position include:
Daily management of territory sales and marketing
Maintain strong productive relationship with accounts and distributor
Perform staff trainings with new placements (on- and off-premise)
Merchandising accounts
Call on decision makers of on- and off-premise accounts
Promote the brewery at events, tastings, and festivals
Account visit tracking using CRM software and iPad
Submission of required administrative reports
Completion of a Weekly Sales Itinerary
Weekly meeting with National Director of Sales
Some additional travel may be required as needed
Other duties as assigned
Skills:
Must have strong sales skills and craft beer knowledge
Must be proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
Strong communication skills
Must be a problem-solver
