Third Space Brewing is a production craft brewery located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. We are a start-up brewery with a passion for creating high-quality craft beer and a fun and welcoming “third space” for our customers (you have your home, you have your work, but everyone needs a third space). We have a tap room and beer garden on site in our 11,000 square foot brewing facility just west of Milwaukee’s Third Ward in the historic Menomonee Valley. We serve numerous on-premise draft accounts and off-premise retail accounts throughout the Southeastern Wisconsin. Position Overview
Looking for a hardworking, committed and passionate person to join our production team. Join a rapidly growing startup brewery in a role that can help introduce you to the industry or further a career. Working on a small team means wearing many hats and gaining exposure to many facets of beer production.
Job Responsibilities
- Cleaning and sanitizing duties throughout the brewery, cellars and warehouse
- Assist with equipment CIPs
- Washing and filling of kegs
- Assist on packaging line
- Monitor beer throughout fermentation process
- Assist with wort production as needed in a limited role
- Ensure proper documentation of processes
- Perform all tasks in accordance with Third Space Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Qualifications
- Experience in a production/labor environment
- Brewery experience preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to doing things right the first time
- Ability to work efficiently and cleanly
- Able to follow detailed written and verbal instructions
- Ability to work on feet for full shift
- Passion for beer and desire for on-going learning and education
- Able to work safely in environment containing potential hazards
- Ability to lift 55 lbs to shoulder height and maneuver 170 lbs of weight
- Basic computer/data entry skills
Job Conditions
- Production environment containing forklift traffic, wet/slippery floors, climbing up and down ladders, trip hazards, mechanical equipment, bending, twisting, lifting, pushing objects.
Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly wage depending on experience (DOE)
