Atlantic Brew Supply's brick-and-mortar homebrew shop is looking to fill a part-time position – we need someone who can work on Saturdays.
All candidates must be 21+ years old, passionate about home brewing beer or wine, and excited to spread their knowledge about homebrew with their fellow homebrewers. We're looking for a customer service-oriented person who is willing to learn more about DIY fermentation projects, and is capable of multitasking. Retail experience is a plus. A working knowledge of homebrewing techniques and/or beer is required. In other words, if you've never home-brewed before, you will not be considered for this position.
Position Responsibilities:
- 1 day of work each week (Saturday) in our retail shop, for up to 10 hours per week
- Consulting with customers on recipe design and equipment needs
- Keeping shelves stocked with products
- Helping to teach brewing classes
- Handling cash flow
You must be available to work Saturdays, as that's when we need the help! We are a growing company within a growing industry, and this job can be your foot-in-the-door to a rewarding career in the beer industry – our former part-time shop employees have gone on to full-time positions in the brewing industry: cellerman and brewers at local and regional breweries, commercial brewery equipment salesmen, and homebrew store management.
To apply, send an email to jobs@atlanticbrewsupply.com, and attach a resume, along with a cover letter explaining why you would like a position in the brewing industry, and what your experience is with home brewing. Please do NOT contact us in-store about this opening - also, please don’t call us on the phone about this opening.
We'll be accepting resumes until 5pm on Friday, March 9th - so send in your application if you want to join the fun!
