New Central Alberta Brewery Seeking Brewery Professionals

New Central Alberta Brewery and restaurant is looking for brewery professionals to be part of an exciting "start-up" opportunity. This new brewery provides a unique opportunity for talented professionals to design, construct and operate a modern community orientated facility.

The brewery and restaurant will include a fully automatic four vessel brewhouse with packaging line and 50 person tap/dining room.

Positions: Head and Assistant Brewer, Cellar Persons and Packaging

Job Type: Full and part-time available

Location: Innisfail, Alberta

Start Date: April 1, 2018

Duties and Responsibilities - dependent on role and may include:

• execute the entire process involved in the production of beer
• cellaring, yeast management and propagation and packaging
• quality control - maintain a spotless brewery and ensure strict sanitation process
• scheduling, purchasing and inventory management
• procedure development and document control
• apprentice and coach junior staff
• interface with customers and promote craft beer education

Candidate Requirements - dependent on role and may include:

• strong technical brewer with passion for craft beer
• experience in a professional brewing environment
• professional brewing education or related experience
• ability to design beer recipes to pair with food in support of an amazing customer experience
• good troubleshooting skills, safety conscious and mechanically inclined
• attention to detail, highly organized and motivated with strong interpersonal skills

Compensation:

• negotiable - based on experience and may include travel, benefits and performance incentives
