    JOB OVERVIEW
    This position is great for a creative and analytical person with a passion for craft beer. You will manage Craft Kettle’s brand as well as plan and direct our marketing and advertising activities. More specifically, this role is responsible for developing and maintaining our company’s brand identity expressed through our logos, graphics, and copy as well as managing our marketing activities through online and print advertising, event and conference planning, and social media interactions.

    JOB TASKS
    • manage the organization’s online and social media activities, including efforts to build a positive reputation through online reviews, interactions, and activity
    • plan and prepare advertising and promotional materials and campaigns, and assess the effectiveness of such activities
    • develop and evaluate methods and procedures for collecting data, such as surveys, opinion polls, or questionnaires
    • develop and oversees the organization’s processes for maintaining contact with customers after each sale
    • plan events and conferences to build awareness of the organization’s mission, personnel, and products
    • help design, modify, and oversee the organization’s logos and graphics
    • produce or oversee the production of video and photographic materials to be used in our marketing and advertising campaigns
    • oversee product and packaging design and branding
    • manage the organization’s brand and marketing budget
    • assess the financial value of the organization’s brand and marketing activities



    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    Must-Have
    • past experience developing and implementing creative and effective social media strategies
    • technical understanding and experience with online advertising strategies with google and facebook ads
    • strong artistic and technical ability to design and layout advertising content using the Adobe software suite
    • strong understanding of logo and graphic design
    • ability to plan and organize large events
    • professional and personable; can communicate well with customers over the phone, via e-mail, and in-person.

    • photo and/or video production and editing experience

    • Resource Management: Accesses and reviews standard budget reports as appropriate for the organization; creates yearly spending plan for all budget accounts; keeps appropriate records of organizational spending and tracks it against spending plan; reallocates resources as organizational change occurs. Regularly analyzes budget data to identify trends and improve the cost effectiveness of unit processes and practices; gathers and organizes credible data to make a business case for changes and additional resources.



    WORK CONTENT
    • Physical Demands: This position requires occasionally sitting, standing, walking, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, use of his or her hands and fingers, reaching with hands and arms, and talking/listening; the employee will occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
    • Vision: Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
    • Work Environment: The work environment is occasionally wet or humid (non-weather); includes working near moving mechanical parts, in high/precarious places; there may be potential fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic cleaning chemicals; occasional outdoor weather conditions; there is a potential risk of electrical shock.

    COMPENSATION
    • Starting salary between $25,000 and $45,000
    • Compensation commensurate with knowledge, skills, and experience
    • Access to the company's benefits packages, which currently include medical, vision, and dental insurance (50% EE / 25% FAM); 4% 1:1 401k match; holidays, paid time off; sick leave, company cell phone and computer.
