We are currently looking for a head brewer. We are a 7-barrel craft brew pub located on the water in downtown Hampton, VA. We have five 7 bbl fermenters, Two 15 bbl fermenters and 6 brite/serving tanks, and 14 tap handles. You will be in charge of day to day operations; working hand and hand with brewery owner. We currently have 6 flagships and 8 rotating seasonals. There is plenty of room for some creative brews.
Looking for someone with good work ethic and who comes into work every day with a smile. We believe the best beers are made with love. Looking for someone who has a true passion for their craft. This is a great opportunity to show off your skills.
Duties:
Formulate recipes
Brew
CIP
Filter/Transfer beer
Keg off beer
Keg Cleanning
Order malts/hops/chemicals/co2/other gases
Brewery maintenance
Work with distributors
Inventory
Experience/Education:
At least 2 years of commercial brewing
