    Durham, N.C.-based Fullsteam Brewery seeks a full-time Delivery Driver to help launch us into our new chapter of growth.

    Full-time
    $13.40 /hour
    Drivers license required, prior driving experience preferred by not necessary.

    DELIVERY DRIVER

    Division/Department: Fullsteam Distribution
    Reports to: Brewery General Manager

    Job Summary
    Fullsteam’s Delivery Drivers work every day to get our product where it needs to go. Interacting closely with the General Manager, the Accounts Receivable administrator, and the sales team, Drivers bring our beer direct to our accounts. They’re the face of Fullsteam for many of our customers.

    The Job
    • Load and unload inventory by hand, lift gate, and hand truck.
    • Be prepared and able to safely lift 50 to 165 pounds.
    • Drive a box truck or cargo van, delivering draft and packaged beer to our accounts.
    o Maintain clean driving record
    o Report any incidents (personal or on-the-job) to the Brewery General Manager
    • Deliver all product in a safe and efficient manner.
    • Clean and repair draft lines.
    • Maintain a clean vehicle.
    o Perform basic mechanical and preventative maintenance
    o Alert General Manager if the truck needs significant repair
    o Facilitate mechanical repairs
    • Keep the truck neat, tidy, and well stocked with tap handles/ stickers to be ready at a moment’s notice
    • Take the occasional road trip, driving up to eight hours a day.

    Skills
    • Flexibility. Hours depend on our delivery needs.
    • Street smarts. Drivers manage and determine their delivery route, using Google Maps and coordinating with admin staff to ensure the route is complete.
    • Basic math skills, as drivers handle deposits, basic accounting, and collect checks.
    • Adaptability, as drivers occasionally fill in at brewery events.
    • Maintain records of inventory.
    o Account for returned kegs/ sixtels
    o Maintain awareness of any pending pick-ups of tapped kegs, tap handles, etc.
    • Participate in any ongoing brewery-wide projects as needed, i.e. training, large scale keg returns to guest breweries, etc.
    Qualifications

    • Must have a valid, clean driver’s license.
    • Capable of lifting and moving up to 165 lbs, with assistance or alone.
    • Availability for morning, evening, and holiday shifts as needed.
    • Must embody Fullsteam’s core values.
