  • 10 BBL Direct fire brewhouse electrical load?

Hi guys, just looking for someone with experience with a rough electrical load calculation for a 10 bbl direct fire brewhouse, 4 20bbl glycol fermenters, 2 15 bbl glycol brite tanks, 12x20 walk in cooler, 1 portable 3 hp pump, 2 head Keg washer. Thanks

Get as much power as you can, not less than 300 amps if 208v, not less than 150 amps if 480v and three phase. Refridgeration and air conditioning will be your biggest users, the brewhouse is at most 40 amps @ 208v. We have 800A available, and that is probably the most ideal, plenty of room to support more tanks and bigger cold room, and I will never have to call the utilities to upgrade my service.
