North Jetty Brewing in Seaview, Washington is actively seeking a Cellarperson/Assistant to the Brewer. This a part time (20-25 hours a week) entry-level position. The selected candidate will also be offered one of our prime taproom shifts to help offset the limited brewery hours as well as opportunities to fill in for other bartenders as needed. Seaview is on the Long Beach Peninsula of Washington. We are a small brewery started by a husband and wife team that has seen great success and we are looking to add to our small but efficient team.

Qualifications:
• 21 years of age or older
• Basic understanding of the brewing and cellaring process
• Passion for the craft brewing industry, good communication skills, and highly reliable
• Exceptional attention to detail, quality, and desire for continuous improvement
• Ability to follow SOP’s and be a self-starter
• Ability to lift or move 55+ pounds repeatedly
• Ability to constantly stand, bend, lift, twist, climb and crouch in a close quarters environment.
• Ability to work on ladders and in hot, cold, or wet and uncomfortable environments

Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to):
• Fermenter and Brewhouse cleaning and sanitizing
• Proper handling of brewery chemicals and adherence to safety procedures
• Beer transfer and packaging in kegs
• Washing kegs
• Maintenance of brewery floors, walls and tanks to maintain a clean environment
• Pallet jack and forklift operation (will train)
• Testing beer for gravity, off flavor and carbonation
• Dry Hopping, Fining, Carbonating
• Maintaining paper and electronic records
• Performing inventory checks
• Assisting the Head Brewer on brew days
• Assisting in bottling operations
• Assisting in other tasks as required
