    Reports to: Director of Sales
    Direct Reports: None
    Sales Territory: Greater Portland, SW Washington, and others as needed
    Work Location: Field/Home Office/Alameda Headquarters

    Job Description:
    As Alameda Brewing Co. Sales Representative your primary role will be to increase sales and drive brand awareness within your assigned territory. You will be primarily engaged with establishing, developing and maintaining account relationships with both On and Off premise accounts while working alongside our distribution partners to maximize area potential.

    Essential Job Duties:
    Represent Alameda Brewing Co. in a positive and pleasant manner
    Work closely with other departments to ensure a clear understanding of current and future beer releases, associated styles and Company culture.
    Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with key retailers and On premise retailers in the assigned territory.
    Assume leadership position in implementing key brewery initiatives with Distributors, retailers and On Premise accounts
    Conduct in-field work-withs, with Distributor representatives.
    Communicate market trends and relevant sales data to brewery staff as well as distribution partners.
    Ensure that the brewery’s quality standards are clearly understood and enforced by distributors and retailers.
    Use distributor data and reporting tools to identify opportunities for new or expanded distribution, lost sales, incremental volume increases, and other business insights.
    Attend all Regional & Brewery Sales team meetings as required.
    Have an understanding of all legal restrictions regarding brewery product in each market and ensure all initiatives are executed within those limitations.
    Ability and willingness to maintain flexible work schedule as weekends and extended workdays often necessary.
    Create and execute Alameda Brewing Co. promotions at current and potential customers, festivals and events as required. Travel is often necessary.
    Meet and maintain sales goals that are set quarterly with the Director of Sales
    Occasional extended sales outings





    Qualifications:
    2+ years relevant sales experience within the craft beer industry
    In depth knowledge of the craft beer scene in the assigned territory.
    Passion for and knowledge of craft beer, styles, brands, and the market as a whole
    Self-Motivated, able to work and deliver results with little direct supervision
    Maintain proven track record of success in the field of craft beer sales, establishing a rapport and trust while influencing purchasing decisions.
    An ability to demonstrate time management skills, while having the ability to prioritize short and long term projects.
    Results Focused and committed to delivering on planned objectives
    Recognize and take advantage of trends in sales and market data
    Effective Communicator, possessing strong written and verbal skills.

    Job Requirements:
    Must reside within the territory
    College degree or comparable work experience
    Valid Driver’s license, proof of insurance and clean driving record
    Reliable transportation to perform job duties
    Proof of eligibility to work in the United States

    Physical Requirements:
    Must be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand and arm movements frequently
    Must be able to lift up to 50lbs routinely and participate in the occasional movement of full kegs
    Must be able to stand, squat, walk, pull, push, kneel on uneven surfaces
    Must be able to routinely climb/descend stairs
    Must be able to walk/stand outside in a variety of weather conditions at events/festivals

    Compensation:
    Full time competitive salary
