Temescal Brewing is seeking an ambitious and enthusiastic Wholesale Account Manager to join our distribution team! This person will be our second hire in a substantial self-distribution program that’s about to see major growth, and will be at the front lines of generating and maintaining our relationships with wholesale accounts in San Francisco and/or the East Bay.

PRIMARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Create and maintain a positive and welcoming “no jerks” environment at all times.
  • Oversee and maintain existing wholesale customer relationships, building lasting and trusting partnerships and carrying out all aspects of the sales process
  • Identify and engage with potential account partners that match our commitment to quality
  • Ensure account and customer satisfaction through friendly service, a proactive approach to retail partner requests, and, most importantly, consistent communication
  • Work closely with distribution and operations teammates via Slack, excel, email, and inventory management software to effectively communicate beer availability, adhering to tight allocation and strategy constraints.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of beers and sales programs in your territory, providing management with information needed to improve our success in your territory

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must be 21 years of age or older at the time of application
  • Have a valid driver’s license and reliable source of transportation

PREFERRED SKILLS:
  • 1-2+ years experience in beer sales or similar sales roles
  • Being able to lift, push and/or pull up to 160lbs and able to bend/squat/reach
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking capabilities
  • Strong communication skills: verbal, listening and written
  • Capable of seeking out new ideas, exhibit initiative and be proactive
  • Knowledge and passion for beer and strong competitive intelligence within the industry
