Temescal Brewing is seeking an ambitious and enthusiastic Wholesale Account Manager to join our distribution team! This person will be our second hire in a substantial self-distribution program that’s about to see major growth, and will be at the front lines of generating and maintaining our relationships with wholesale accounts in San Francisco and/or the East Bay.

PRIMARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create and maintain a positive and welcoming “no jerks” environment at all times.
- Oversee and maintain existing wholesale customer relationships, building lasting and trusting partnerships and carrying out all aspects of the sales process
- Identify and engage with potential account partners that match our commitment to quality
- Ensure account and customer satisfaction through friendly service, a proactive approach to retail partner requests, and, most importantly, consistent communication
- Work closely with distribution and operations teammates via Slack, excel, email, and inventory management software to effectively communicate beer availability, adhering to tight allocation and strategy constraints.
- Monitor the effectiveness of beers and sales programs in your territory, providing management with information needed to improve our success in your territory
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be 21 years of age or older at the time of application
- Have a valid driver’s license and reliable source of transportation
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- 1-2+ years experience in beer sales or similar sales roles
- Being able to lift, push and/or pull up to 160lbs and able to bend/squat/reach
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking capabilities
- Strong communication skills: verbal, listening and written
- Capable of seeking out new ideas, exhibit initiative and be proactive
- Knowledge and passion for beer and strong competitive intelligence within the industry
