Position: Brewery Assistant (with opportunity to grow!)
Overview:
Yee-Haw Brewing Co is looking for a Brewery Assistant to join our team in Greenville,
SC. We are an adventure-based 7-barrel brewery based right in beautiful downtown Greenville. We are
looking for a hardworking and dedicated team member who can help support our brewery operations
and has an interest in growing with our company. The Brewery Assistant will report directly to our Head
Brewer and will be actively support all facets of day-to-day brewery operations… cleaning! This position
is an hourly non-exempt position, ranging from 32 to 45 hours weekly. Prior experience in a brewery is a
plus, but not specifically required for the right candidate.
Essential Skills:
● A strong desire to working the brewing industry and a desire to continuously learn
● Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to help us produce the best beer possible
● The ability to lift 160 lbs repeatedly (moving kegs!)
● Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and efficiently
● Strong math skills, efficient problem-solving and analytical skills
● Mechanically inclined with an aptitude to operate and troubleshoot basic tools and
equipment
● Exceptional communication (verbal and written)
● Be a clear thinker, analyze and resolve problems, and exercise good judgment
● A safety-focused mindset, forklift experience and qualifications are a plus but not required
Job Responsibilities:
● General job duties include but are not limited to management of our kegging operations, operating
our keg washer, filling kegs and managing inventory of packaged goods for in-house consumption
● Clean tanks by following the company’s established SOPs
● Receiving and processing of raw materials, cleaning, managing day-to-day business needs
● Cleaning and sanitation, and more cleaning!
● Assist the Head Brewer in all aspects of the production processes
● Attend evening and weekend industry events and special events as requested
● More cleaning, opportunity for overtime, and other duties as business dictates

Work Environment
● Physical strength and agility necessary with the ability to frequently lift kegs, frequently
sitting, standing, lifting, walking, kneeling, crouching, etc.
● Work in loud environment with basic safety accommodations
● Heavy physical work, including climbing ladders, moving hoses, etc. in wet, hot and cold
conditions
● The ability to work a flexible schedule including a rotating schedule of early morning, late
evening, and weekend work
