The Duck-Rabbit Craft Brewery is seeking a motivated Sales representative located in Raleigh/Durham, NC.
Job Duties include but are not limited to:
• Increase Duck-Rabbit sales: Develop and maintain relationships with key on- and off-premise accounts, coordinate and work promotions, staff training, festivals and events, and most importantly sell Duck-Rabbit beer.
• Distributor Management: Build positive relationships with our distribution partners, educate and work with distributor sales staff to increase sales and awareness of Duck-Rabbit Beers.
• Quality Assurance: Perform regular quality control checks of on- and off-premise accounts, and distribution partners’ warehouses to ensure freshness, and high quality standards of our beers.
• Professional Accountability.
Qualifications
• A Bachelor’s Degree
• At least 2 years of experience in the craft beer industry
• Self motivation; the applicant should be able to work independently with little direction, and have strong organization skills
• The applicant should have good communication skills, both written and verbal; and should be comfortable with public speaking.
Territory & Travel:
While the primary focus of the position will be in The Triangle (Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill), and eastern North Carolina, regular visits to neighboring markets in VA and MD, will be required, at least once a quarter. In addition, occasional trips to farther markets will be required as well.
Other Requirements
• A Valid drivers license, and a good driving record
• Reliable transportation (a car)
• A Flexible schedule, as nights and weekends for events and festivals will be required
• A passion for craft beer!
We offer commission based compensation, as well as a benefits package that includes healthcare, a 401k program with matching, and mileage reimbursement.
