APPLICANT INFORMATION - Canning Line Operator
Other Half Brewing Co is seeking a hard working and detail oriented individual to join our team as a full time Canning Line Operator within the Packaing Team.
You will be responsible for the following:
• Leading packaging runs on our Wild Goose Canning Line and working with our other canning line operators and the rest of the OH packaging team.
• Strict attention to detail to ensure beer is packaged properly and efficiently with regard to fill-height, dissolved oxygen levels, and seaming standards.
• Extensive maintenance and sanitation of the canning line
• Troubleshooting issues as they arise on any of our packaging related machinery, which includes: WG250 (4 head filler), PackLeader labeler, SKA depalletizer, Meheen bottling line
• Bottling and labelling beer as needed.
• Recording all relevant data for packaging logs to ensure statistical accuracy.
• Packaging and cleaning 1/6 BBL and 1/2 BBL kegs*if needed.
Applicant requirements:*
• Prefer a minimum 1year prior experience on a Wild Goose Canning Line but willing to train the right candidate
• Strong mechanical aptitude - troubleshooting issues as they arise under pressure
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Works well with others, including our brewery staff to ensure canning deadlines and goals are met.
• Ability to perform repetitive motion functions in support of canning line operations.
• Must*be able to work long and varied hours on your feet; lift 50 lbs; push 150 lbs.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and ensure all standard operating procedures are adhered to.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment (forklift / electric pallet jack).
• Ability to grow with our expanding company as new opportunities arise.
