    Job Description
    Brewery Representative – CT Valley Brewing- South Windsor, CT

    Summary:

    A key part of the CT Valley Team, our Brewery Rep will be our boots on the ground. They are the face of the company and are often the first to introduce Connecticut Valley Brewing and our beers to potential customers. Because of this, we truly believe that every experience with our sales team must be fantastic — from the opening pitch to a new retailer, to pouring samples at a beer fest, to hosting a tap takeover, our sales team represents CVBC!

    The Brand Ambassador will report directly to the Director of Operations and is responsible for assisting with all aspects of the brewery pertaining to sales, promotions, and marketing initiatives. This includes, but is not limited to all key responsibilities listed below.

    Key Responsibilities:

    - Supports Director of Operation with all outside sales, events, and promotions

    - Develops and maintains strategic partnerships with key retailers and restaurateurs

    - Ensures that all product is rotated and QA policies are followed

    - Represents CVBC at festivals and coordinates other events such as beer dinners, promotions and tastings

    - Develops new on and off-premise accounts and new placements

    - Communicates with retailers and distributors to ensure all needs are being met

    - Effectively communicates with the management team to ensure that all brands are being properly marketed and provides feedback from the field

    - Organize and execute floor displays, placement of signs and/or posters at all accounts

    - Handle customer inquiries regarding delivery, product information and other inquiries as they arise

    - Delivers product to accounts and events as needed

    - Engages in continuous education to sharpen skills

    - Supports other departments and managers as assigned by the D.O.

    - Represents the brewery in a professional manner at all times

    Minimum Qualifications:

    - 21 years of age or older

    - Able to lift/move 80+ lbs and work safely in a loud and/or hot work environment

    - Able to kneel, stoop, move quickly and be on feet all day

    - Valid and clean driver's license and use of own car each day

    - Must be willing/able to work extremely flexible hours including some nights and weekends

    - MUST BE A BEER GEEK! Passionate about beer!

    - Team Player

    - Positive, bubbly, and outgoing with a great sense of humor!

    - Self-motivated with a willingness to learn

    - Ability to work independently with little supervision

    Skills:

    - Proficient Microsoft Office and all social media platforms

    - Excellent prioritization and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects within deadlines

    - Strong written and verbal communication skills

    - Able to function in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment
