has anyone used elderflowers to flavour their beers? i have brewed at home over the last few years using these beauties in early summer to flavour lager. just wondering if anyone else has used them commercially?
Been brewing an elderflower wheat beer for over a year now. very popular this time of year. (spring beer) Early batches used fresh flowers....ehhhhhh, a mess! but now using a comercially produce product.
You have to be careful with the yeast strain and hops so not to lose the aroma and taste of the elderflower.
