    No RO here. Town water supply is fairly good. Extremely low minerals--mostly rain runoff held at a reservoir for most of the island. It is chlorinated. We store a few days' use in tanks in case of an interruption. Took out the UV that was here before I came. Bugs in fairly pure water won't affect your mash. Especially if you have a HLT that stores the water hot. More a problem if you post-sanitize rinse your tanks.

      I suppose if there were any micro bugs in the holding tank they'd soon be gone during the boil anyhow.
