Do you think the new kegs by Plastic Kegs America are the wave of the future?

I think that it is avery interesting technology, that may still be in the development phase - I think that's where one's main concern lay. Can they handle day to day handling, in the brewery and in the outlets? I don't know - this needs to be proven by the manufacturers.

One side comment - when I read that a large brewery group has accepted the one-year warranty, the CPA/controller voice in me says that they probably got a fantastic price for the new plastic kegs and compared to the depreciation of SS vs. plastic kegs, they can theoretically throw them away after one year. As I have already stated in this thread, maybe one could try out a few and see if they have staying power, but I think it may be a bit early to change over completely.
