  • Coffee Stout

I'd like to make a coffee / lacto stout. I was wondering apx how much coffee / bbl would be appropriate? This will be a relatively big beer starting at 1.060 g. I was thinking 1 lb / bbl of ground coffee sounds reasonable. Thaughts on this?

If you have a local coffee roaster they may be able to provide you with some great advice. They may suggest which bean variety may work best with your beer stlye and may even supply some liquid for trial tests. If you're real lucky they may be excited at the cross-merchandising opportunities. Best of luck!

There have been a couple of discussions regarding coffee in beer. Check out coffee in the search facility. It brought up four queries / discussions when I tried it just now. Perhaps one or more of these can help
