  • Mexican Hops?

Anyone know a source (if they even grow them there) for Mexican hops?

I used to know a guy back in the day that had some pretty sweet, red-haired Michoacan. Wait, you said hops, my bad...
    Cheers & I'm out!

Hops don't grow well in lower latitudes like Mexico

I would be very surprised if there are any; hops don't grow well in lower latitudes like Mexico, because the days are too short in the summer (i.e., length of daylight). They would need to use electric lights at night to supplement the daylight, like they do in South Africa, and there may be other issues, too.

For more info about growing hops, please visit our 'Grow-Hops' Yahoo Group which currently has 2,765 members, with many commercial growers.

      Cheers.

Rumors are strong by waterskinner eyewitness accounts. The real deal exists, just not commercially. If you know where they are, you've earned the knowledge too.
        It's a secret!
