  • Brewer Job Descriptions

I am looking to enhance my ability to set goals and benchmarks for incoming staff, and was wondering if anyone would like to share their job descriptions for brewers.

    Email or call.
    Thanks

Thank God, no packaging, yeast management, cleaning or QC! Where do I apply!!

Joking aside, Applicant must have a fire in their gut to brew. That means you are the first to arrive to open the brewery every day, work till you drop, and love it!!

I'm starting to realize why none of the four pro brewing jobs I've had have had a description attached to them...

And don't forget the other minor details particularly relevant to pub breweries - serving behind the bar, cleaning the lines, conducting taste sessions with customers, brewery tours and if you are really lucky and have worked out how to realisticaly work 25 hr 8 day weeks, go on sponsored cycle rides !!

              Cheers

Don't forget to allow some time to drink some beer as well

On the home page for this very site, you can click on resources, then library, then "hiring the best brewers". Scroll down for the job description from Steelhead brewery.
