  • Pump Question

    Hi,

We are looking for a low volume pump for wort transfer from mash/lau tun to kettle.
We only have a 7 bbl system so I thinking 2-5 gallons per minute.
Does anyone know of a pump manufacturer or source for these type
    of pumps?

    Cheers,

Add a Veriable Frequency Drive to an existing pump.
    Cheers & I'm out!

Sorry to just respond, but Hilge is a great pump for that application. Let me know if you still need help.

Like many folks, we use one pump for vorlauf, transfer, and knockout. It's designed for about 120-150% of knockout flow, and we use a VFD on it. The VFD allows for any flow rate; and the extra speed beyond what we need for knockout is useful for CIP.
