  • Suggestions for purchasing a new Glycol Chiller

    Hello everyone,

As my operation nears start-up, I have decided to go ahead and purchase a new 5 ton glycol chiller. It will be the only new piece of equipment in my brewery and is one of the largest expenses I have encountered. I've received quotes from 4 different sources and their pricing ranges from 7,500$ to 11,500$ for a 5 ton, single phase chiller (no 3 phase access near my brewery). HUGE difference here - especially for a very small, boot strapped start up.

Has anyone had success working with a particular company - affordability, service, quality, etc?

Thank you, anyone and everyone, for your feedback.
