Anyone have reference material on metal hazes in beer?

  • #2
I can't recommend a reference but have had a little experience with this while working for a large.

I think the ASBC handbook of analyses has a section on hazes. I may be confusing this memory with the section on microscopic identification of deposits in bottles.

Do you know which type of metal is the problem? (ie. Cu, Fe, Al, etc). Is it a whole batch or just a few bottles?.

    Pax.
