  • Brewery Exhaust Fans

As the summer heat approaches we're looking for ways to keep our brewery a little more comfortable as well as keep mold growth down and we're looking at exhaust fans. Delmarva seems to be the bug capital of the world so we need to stay closed up. Anybody out there want to share their on-the-cheap climate-control solutions? Is anyone using Gravity exhausts? We're operating in about 2000 square feet, but brew 7-10 times a week so we generate alot of heat, and the lower eastern shore of Maryland gets pretty hot in the summer. Thanks!

    cheers,
    geoff

    swamp cooler/evaporative cooler?

Not sure if the humidity would be an issue ... but what about the idea of using a swamp cooler style cooling unit with an intake fan to suck in the heat, and then blow it out..

    just thinking.

check out the wiki page to learn about these units.

glad to see you are so busy, Geoff!
