  • Using Parker Hannifin Fulflo® LT Series

Anyone using Parker Hannifin Fulflo® LT Series for filtration? I'm considering this instead of DE. Would anyone be able to share pros or cons of the system? More info on their fluid control filtration can be found here. http://www.geofluidprocessors.com/PA...20HOUSINGS.pdf Cons are the cartridge replacement expense and the fact that they ar not recycled. Pro's ease of use and maintenance.

Wondering about effectively and any other known issue with something like this or similar?

    Thanks for any input.

Cartridge filters do not have the 'sludge capacity' of DE filtration so it depends on your process. If you are bringing relatively clear beer to the filter it should be fine, say a 4-6 week lager. But if your trying to get a dry-hopped pale into the bright in 14 days I dont think they would work well.
I do know they are a great option for adding sterile filtration after DE or sheets. FYI- not personal experience, just my understanding of the technology.
