Grist Case Size

I am thinking about getting a plastic hopper to use as a grist case and I don't know what the required volume would be. I have a 5BBL system and plan on setting the hopper up above the mill (no room for one above the mash tun) so it will be unmilled grain. I know this would be a smaller hopper than I would need for milled grain above the mash tun, but I don't know what volume would be appropriate for my needs.

Can anyone tell me the volume per # of unmilled grain, we are still building the brewery and I don't have any malt sitting around to measure.

For some reason I'm recalling 40 lbs/ft3 unmilled, 27 lbs/ft3 milled.
