  • self distribution in mass

A while back I know that you could not self dist in Mass if you are an out of state brewery. Im trying to find out if that is still the case.

BBC and Paper City, you guys have any input on this? Anyone out of state looking to go into Mass have sucess or denied?

Im not looking yet, but this may become a long term goal and want all my info first.

    Thanks.

In order to 'self' distribute, in MA you have the following options.

    1. Be a 'Farmer Brewer' located and licensed to wholesale in MA and self distribute your beers only.

    2. Setup a separate 'distribution' company, and get whatever brands you can to sell. These brands can be your own and other brewery's beers too

    hope this helps frank
