OK, so when investigating how best to build a system, what are good educational resources for determining whether you want to go All Electric, Steam Generator, gas fired, direct.....

We've pretty well landed on 7BBL in size but theres still a great deal to be learned before we can put together a figure on how much cash we need to get up and running.

Is there a "brew school" that focuses on the Business end of things?

You can talk to the people at the American Brewers Guild. I know in the past they had a class for this. You can go to their website at abgbrew.com .

I'd have to recommend Probrewer.com to help you answer your questions.

Seriously though, your own brewmaster, or a reputable brewing consultant should be able to answer your questions, discuss pro's and con's, and help formulate your operating plan.

No disrespect intended but many people seem completely at ease reaching into their pockets to pay lawyers, plumbers, steamfitters, electricians, insulators etc. when they're opening their brewery.

A brewing consultant, on the other hand...

      Good luck,

      Pax.
