    Pro Refrigeration, Inc., a leading Refrigeration Equipment Manufacturing Company located in the Pacific Northwest, is currently seeking an Outside Sales Representative for the West Coast Region, preferably based in Central California (Sacramento/Bay Area).

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Conduct sales calls to assigned accounts as well as prospective customers to explain the products and services that our company offers.
    • Qualify account needs while identifying contact person and follow up call frequency.
    • Quote our established prices.
    • Create and close sales.
    • Handle price objections, negotiations and preparation of bids in conjunction with the Sales Manager.
    • Record, update, and analyze account information to identify sales strategies and objectives.
    • Gather information on emerging trends within our industry from various sources.
    • Continually be aware of needs and requirements of our customers and suppliers.
    • Process requests for literature and vendor product information.
    • Submit records of customer calls and be responsible for discussions of results, market information, and customer opportunities.
    • Maintain a self-directed approach to the study of new products, literature, promotions, and trade publications.
    • Meet with the Sales Manager to review sales results, objectives, work in process, threats, opportunities, and various sales and product strategies.
    • Provide continual feedback of marketing information.
    • Maintain excellent customer service and work in a team environment.
    • Actively respond to and meet sales opportunities as they occur in the market.
    • Maintain ongoing training and development to increase knowledge and professional effectiveness.

    This is a remote office position and salesperson will be required to maintain home office in an applicable region to successfully service the West Coast Region of the United States. This region will primarily focus on California with coverage into Oregon, Nevada, and Arizona.

    Pro Refrigeration currently markets to the following industries; Craft Breweries, Wineries, Dairies (on farm and processing), Industrial Bakeries, Distilleries, as well as numerous other food processing and industrial related applications. A background with industry knowledge is required.

    Salary will be partial commission based, pay rate depending on experience and skill level.

    Qualifications

    • Must be willing to travel approximately 3 weeks per month, with weekends/evenings at home as much as possible.
    • Must have a background in outside sales
    • Minimum 2-5 years sales experience
    • Understanding of Microsoft Office Suite applications
    • Excellent communication and telephone skills
    • Pay close attention to details
    • Strong time management and organizational skills
    • Able to multi-task and work as a team player
    • Some knowledge of Refrigeration Equipment a plus
    • Clean driving record
