    Production Line Manager
    Mother Earth Brewing of Kinston, NC is in search of a Production Line Manager. Production line leadership/management experience a must, 2+ years preferred. Previous experience with rotary filler bottling machine and/or canning line desired.

    Candidate will be solely responsible for overall management of the bottling and canning lines, to include maintenance of machines and staff management. This is a hands-on position, where candidate will be part of a small team and therefore expected to do whatever it takes to keep production on schedule.
    Primary responsibilities include:
    Scheduling and performing preventative maintenance on bottling and canning lines
    Quality control; ensuring bottles/cans coming off line are in first-rate condition and packaged according to SOP
    Train, schedule and supervise line staff
    Enforce strict safety procedures
    Work closely with Head Brewer to establish packaging schedule
    Trouble-shoot any mechanical issues
    Complete production logs on daily basis
    Inventory and ordering of bottling/canning supplies and related materials
    Requirements:

    Very strong mechanical skills
    Exceptional team leader/manager
    Ability to multi-task and reduce line down-time to an absolute minimum
    In addition to the characteristics mentioned above, we are looking for a candidate who has basic brewing knowledge; to include sanitation procedures. The candidate will be expected to assist in brewing/cellaring operations from time to time.
