Cellarman for Harpoon Brewery Vermont
Overview
Harpoon brewery is currently taking applications for a position at our brewery in Windsor, VT. This is a full time position for a Cellarman.
Qualifications
Applicant must have:
2 years of experience in a production brewery environment
Formal brewing education
Good mechanical skills
A full understanding of cleaning and sanitation procedures
Ability to maintain a high degree of attention to detail
A positive attitude in a demanding repetitive production environment
Requirements
Must be able to work varying hours depending upon production schedule but are generally 40 to 45 hours a week first and second shifts Sunday through Thursday. Ability to lift 50 lbs. Work in a loud, damp environment (with proper protection) and enjoy great beer when the work is done.
Job Duties
Centrifuge and Filtration operation
CIP of tanks
Yeast handling
Dry Hopping
Fermentation management
Ensure beers meets quality specification
Make adjustments to equipment to compensate for variations in materials
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Perform daily maintenance
